I'd love to see the rest of your film, I'm sure there are some gems you passed by.

So, guess who just switched to Canon. The 5d and 28mm f1.8 should be here tomorrow. The floating foot in the first one is too small though, doesn't add anything. Check out the depth of field!
http://www.viiphoto.com/more-feature.php?photographer=Christopher%20Morris
Also, I really love the composition and quality of light on the last image of the boy in the tree. You not only managed to make cool, graphic compositions, but you were able to communicate a sense of what it was like to be at this event. There are so few working photojournalists that still have drive and enthusiasm around here. I try to understand why, but it's complicated. Part of it is that there's no photojournalism tradition. The other problem is that there are just a couple of real photo editors in the whole country, so there's no feedback for photographers who lose motivation. Anyway, enough about this. It was a lot easier in Columbia, where everyone was so passionate.

As far as the depth of field goes, it's due to the Canon 50mm, f1.4. It's a great lens. Nikon has a similar lens (I remember you were a Nikon user). It's a great lens. I am generally pretty lazy, so I feel that a fixed lens makes me work harder.andreihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12876545409051748748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34367254.post-75421411581708407722007-10-01T20:37:00.000-05:002007-10-01T20:37:00.000-05:00Wow!
