I wasn't there shooting for the AP, so it was my camera.
It got wet, but not too bad, since I kept wiping it after every three or four shots. The 16-35 mm has a little rubber on the mount that's designed to keep dust out, but it works for water too if the situation doesn't get too dramatic.
