Here's a little story I found interesting and thought I should share, shot and recorded by Liz Baylen of the LA Times.

During the Easter weekend, in between short assignments, along with my girl, I met up with my parents and we visited the beautiful monastery of Moldovita, in the northern region of Bucovina.

What We're Worth

Here's a post I thought was really interesting that Michael Rubenstein has recently put on his blog. It speaks of the connection between work quality and financial compensation.

"Getting my work to the point where my images look this way took a lot of time, training and sacrifice. Look at it this way because it is exactly the same thing; I love the way a 5 series BMW drives. I love the way it looks and the way it feels. It is a fantastic car. I could go into a dealership and tell them that I want to give them 25k for the car and they would say no. Not only because it costs 60k but because it is WORTH 60k."

Tibi

I'm working on a story about Tibi, a 25 year-old blind man who teaches English in a school for the vision impaired. He is also Romania's champion in the 100m relay for the vision impaired. I'll post more at the end of the week.
